All The President's Men

“How low has President Obama gone to tapp [sic] my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!” — President Trump, on Twitter, 3/4/17

It is the beginning of the end. The walls are closing in. We’re at a tipping point. Those phrases, obsessively repeated by the drive-bys against Donald Trump for over three years, all apply now to the 44th President’s men: John Brennan, Obama’s cia Director; James Comey, Obama’s fbi Director; James Clapper, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence; and bringing up the rear, Obama’s Secretary of State and Steele dossier paymaster Hillary Clinton (who, as I’ve always said, puts her pants on one leg at a time, just like any other guy).

Those corrupt Obama apparatchiks who ran the U.S. intelligence agencies that surveilled Trump and planted informants in his campaign while hrc ran the global money laundering and blackmail operation that brought home the Clinton Crime Family Foundation bacon — are now themselves under government investigation.

“[John] Durham Is Scrutinizing Ex-cia Director’s Role in Russian Interference Findings,” The New York Times reported on December 19. “The federal prosecutor investigating the origins of the Russia inquiry is examining testimony by the former cia Director John Brennan and seeking his communications records.” On January 19, The Times unhappily revealed: “Justice Dept. Investigating Years-Old Leaks and Appears Focused on Comey.”

The law is finally catching up to these dirty cops. James Comey lied about the provenance of the Steele dossier. John Brennan lied when he claimed the Intelligence Assessment didn’t rely on the dossier. James Clapper lied when he denied Obama surveilled the Trump campaign.

And now John Durham and William Barr are coming after them. Comey has gone suddenly silent, no longer posting photos of himself in cornfields on Twitter. “I am concerned,” grumbled Brennan. Clapper went on cnn to whine, “It’s kind of disconcerting now to be investigated for, you know, having done our duty and done what we were told to do by the President.”

So we don’t even need to ask the famous Nixonian question: “What did the 44th President know, and when did he know it?” The answer is obvious: Obama knew everything — from Day One. He was, and is, the Coup-Plotter-in-Chief. Barack Milhous Obama’s famous boast that his Administration displayed “not even a smidgen of corruption” should be translated: “I am not a crook.” Maybe Hillary Clinton will vouch for that.
