Each time someone has shone the light of truth on this President, we’ve heard the same accusations. When those in the conservative press warned the nation that candidate Bill Clinton operated on the edges of the truth and the law, they were dismissed as “mean-spirited”; they were labeled “hatemongers” and “extremists.” As the serial Clinton Administration misdeeds and felonies hit the fan and were investigated by Congress — whether by Committee Chairmen Rep. Jim Leach, Rep. William Clinger, Sen. Al D’Amato, Sen. Fred Thompson, or most recently Rep. Henry Hyde — the credibility and legitimacy of the proceedings were always attacked. We were told this investigation didn’t count because: “It’s partisan.” Or that investigation didn’t count because: “It’s a circus.” The left is now predicting — in hopes to avoid any Senate trial — any Senate trial would be…” circus.”

I have no doubt they’re correct. But once again, the clowns, my friends, are on the left. And most of the high wire acts will take place outside the hallowed halls of the Senate. Already the media circus is gearing up — complete with the hysterical antics (and hysteria) of clowns like Geraldo Rivera, Alan Dershowitz, Charles Grodin, Eleanor Clift, and especially head jester James Carville.
